AirPort Radar is a convenient Dashboard widget that displays a list of all the wireless networks available in your vicinity. It uses color coding to differentiate between networks: orange for the network you are currently connected to, blue for nearby networks, and gray for networks that are out of range. The length of the colored bar indicates the strength of the signal for each network. You have the option to sort the networks by name, signal strength, or channel. Additionally, you can customize how often the widget updates in the settings. AirPort Radar is compatible with several hardware devices including AirPort cards, MacWireless PC 11g, and PCI 11g.
